..since I last logged on here. My avatar seems to have been replaced by a Lady Gaga virus. Does anyone else think she's actually a man? Because I thought she was at first. Let's see, in the last 6 months I've been doing a lot of freelance photography for musicians and a few weddings, I broke two bones in my foot and dislocated a toe, and I just got back from a vacation/wedding in Las Vegas. Upcoming gigs are shooting a quinceanera and attending a workshop on how to stitch images together to create a panoramic photograph because it's pathetic that I don't know how to do that. After months of taking portraits for work, I decided to use my day off this week to check out the Seattle Arboretum, a botanical garden in the middle of urban Seattle. I have to say, despite the mud and the rain, I think this garden is even prettier in the Fall than it is in the Spring. Boy, were there a lot of photographers there though, carrying some pretty serious equipment. I'm wondering if it's almost cliche to be a professional photographer and have just posted 25 pictures of maple leaves mid-October at this point. Here's to unoriginality! Whoo! Anyway, it was really just an excuse to get out of the studio for a day. I was feeling burnt
